The SMK is the national gallery of Denmark and the largest art museum in the country. The museum is located in central Copenhagen, near to the Rosenberg palace and Museum of Natural History. While my husband went to explore Niels Bohr Institute, I chose to witness the Danish  & Nordic arts of the last few centuries. The museum exhibits European arts from 1300-1800, Danish & Nordic art from 1750-1900, French art from 1900-1930 and Danish & International art after 1900.
