Monument Aux morts, Nice .

World war I cost  4000 innocent lives of Nice and  to remember them the War memorial Aux Morts was built at the foot of the Castle Hill. Inaugurated in 1928, it was cut and curved into the side of the hill to remember the lost souls.

  1. I was not aware of Monument Aux morts, so we didn’t catch it when we visited Nice. Some really nice art work in the monument.

Love your pictures from the ocean promenade, such a beautiful place for afternoon walks:)
